Quality air is vital for a reliable undisturbed operation of your industrial process and to the quality of your end product.

Compressed air is a concentration of:

- Solid particles
-Humidity and water droplets
-Oil vapour or oil droplets
-Odours, gases, vapours, fumes
- Micro-organisims

This concentration results in an abrasive and often acidic oily sludge that may harm the air net, the connected machinery and your end product.

For this reason proper air treatment through filtration, drying and draining is a vital part of your compressed air utility.

Energy waste through manual or timed controlled drains = wasted dollars.
- Manual drain approximately ½" diameter open 50% = 112,000 kWh/year
- Timed control drain open 10 sec. every 5 min. approximate diameter ¼" = 3,700 kWh/year

Using electronic condensate drains or zero loss drains = yearly savings.

Condensate from your oil-injected compressed air system is contaminated with oil, which needs to be removed before allowing the condensate to pass into the sanitary sewage system. Oil/Water separation systems are designed to treat the condensate in full compliance with environmental legislation.
